Hey Everybody, how has your week been? We’ve been pretty busy over here at Studio Kumiho this week!
First off, new art. Check out this bad boy, isn’t it awesome?
It’s been great watching the characters develop over time. Now we have color and they’re really starting to feel fully fleshed out. This is all coming together so nicely!
Something this has made me think of just now: have you ever noticed character heights in games? One thing that always bothered me about The Sims franchise was the fact that everything was changeable except for their height. I would love to have a ‘Brienne of Tarth’ sim! I hope we’re able to reflect our characters height differences in the sprites!
Windup Audio has been busy at work as well. They’re currently working on a *top secret* video that we’re hoping to show you all soon. I may be biased, but just about everything they touch is gold!
If you haven’t already, you should hear the soundtrack for our latest release ‘A Sound Plan’. It’s got some really funky beats and ear worms, and now it’s stuck in my head again. Seriously, it’s fresh, yet retro in the best way. You can check out our trailer for the game here.
Speaking of ‘A Sound Plan’, I’m sure you all know since we’ve been buzzing non-stop about it, but we’re bringing ASP to Indie MEGABOOTH this year!! HOORAY!! So, if you haven’t gotten a chance to check it out and you’ll be at Pax West, please come visit us!

I don’t have enough exclamation points to describe how excited I am. You have until September 2nd to come check out ‘A Sound Plan’ and Studio Kumiho in person, something I highly recommend.
